Ga, Kook-hyun is is widely known for his work titled 'Sensible Still Life' series in south Korea and also in many other countries. He does not depict flowers and ceramics of the real world. He expresses his image of flowers and ceramics on the canvas with paint.

Therefore, the title of his work is 'Sensible Still Life.'

His artworks reinterpreting simplified ceramics and flowers with his own sensibility show the aesthetics of contemplation and reflection, simplicity, emptying and filling. The

flowers in his ceramics are quite different from real flowers. They show the shapes of collars, roses, daffodils, and fog flowers, but they are mysterious and dreamlike. He used the blistering technique he developed over a long period of time. By using the foam in paint delicately, he expressed a unique texture. Critics say that his artworks contain a 'Korean texture.' They are unique in their combination of simple and calm composition, color, and 'Korean texture.'
